We can´t stop moving.
What we were already forecasting, but now with some hard numbers:
Online advertising expenditure grew 4.6% to £1.75 billion in H1 2009, overtaking TV for the first time.
IAB figures show ad expenditure online up £82m to record market share of 23.5%.
In the first half of 2009 internet advertising weathered the recession and grew by 4.6% to £1,752.1m, despite the entire advertising sector contracting by 16.6% during the same period.
According to the bi-annual online advertising expenditure study from the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) – the trade body for digital marketing – in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the World Advertising Research Centre (WARC) – the internet has now overtaken TV advertising to become the UK’s single biggest advertising medium

W3haus was asked to come up with a creative concept for the launch of the Defected in the House Amsterdam Album release. What we proposed was to light up the Amsterdam Red Light District windows in a way that would make them look like a graphical equaliser. In an epic journey, we drove to Amsterdam from London with all the crew and equipment and back in 24h! Once there, we took over the Grasshopper, a famous Coffee shop to be our main location for the shoot. The artists from Chocolate Puma and Hardsoul, were present to take part in the video shoot.
Creative idea by W3haus, production and editing of the video was done by Casual Films and lighting by Colour Sound Experiment. The video can be seen below:

While visiting a client close to Carnaby Street today, I passed by this Lomography shop, which is nearly ready to open. It is self entitled the “Lomography Embassy of London”

Some info about Lomography from wikipedia:
Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, “happy accidents,” and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “Lomographic Technique.” Users are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to their photography, and use these techniques to document everyday life, as the Lomo LC-A’s small size, simple controls, and ability to shoot in low light encourages candid photography, photo reportage, and photo vérité through the much-touted “10 Rules.”
