• Making of the Defected video

  A while back we headed of to Amsterdam for a lightning fast marketing video of the new album release of the Defected in the House – Amsterdam electronic music album. We had come up with an idea to light up a building in the red light district making it look like a music equaliser – here is the video showing what happened. This all took place within 24h (crazy!):

• W3Haus to launch a new website for the 5th largest company in the world!

  Petrobras, Brazil’s oil giant, currently the 5th biggest company in the world by market cap will unveil a new website created by W3Haus tomorrow. The website is one of many online initiatives W3Haus has been creating for the client in the last few months.

  An event will take place in Rio to mark the launch of the new site – as soon is it goes live we will let you know!

• Greenpeace BlackPixel project

  Here is a nice awareness campaign by Greenpeace – the BlackPixel project. The idea is that if everyone installs the software on their computer, thousands of hundreds of Kilo Watts will be saved in the planet. The software works by turning black a very small portion of your monitor, this in turn uses less energy and saves electricity. More info in the video below:
  
  A while back, w3haus also did a simple awareness piece along the same lines – to generate awareness for environment day, we changed Dellanno’s website from bright colours to dark. This had a nice awareness effect and also generated some buzz:
