We can´t stop moving.
Promoting the stupid, spontaneous and unthoughtful culture, Diesel has launched the Be Stupid campaign. Maybe its a next trend in fashion advertising which always promotes how cool will be if you use their stuff. The evolution now is that you can identify with looking stupid whilst using cool gear
Some interesting takes on being stupid in a cool way:

Easier to view it than to explain – go ahead and play the movie below and drag your cursor around (sorry about the autoplay!):
The latest developments in 3D video technology have brought us Immersive video. This technology is starting to make its way into mainstream media and advertising more and more. Initially developed for Google Streetview, Immersive Media, the company behind the technology have now adapted the technique to video. This is perfect for capturing what a place would have looked like in a certain moment in time.

Simultaneous camera feeds are recorded and then post-processed to be stitched together. Currently a CPU intensive and time consuming process, we will probably see this in real-time in the future as the technology evolves.
We expect this technology to become another mainstream option in the way events are presented. Whether it be live concerts, sporting events or in news coverage, it will be great to be liberated from only being able to look at where the camera is pointing.
Some more great examples here: http://360videoblog.blogspot.com/

Either way, the following list will help you get unstuck and get those neurons firing! We have compiled a small list of sites that always have something interesting to inspire us:

Quirky, interesting and cool collections of things from around the world. Not about trends, more historic random connections.

No matter if you like architecture, accessories, stuff for the home - you will find new cool stuff in The Cool Hunter UK site!

Ethonomics? We're not sure what that is, but they talk about it on this website! Innovation and the future of business can be found here.

PSFK is a New York City based trends research and innovation company that publishes a daily news site

A mixture of social bookmarking and magazine, the trend hunter tries to keep up with trends in real-time. They even have top trends of the day!

Each day a new site. Always something interesting. They do tend to focus on flash sites though - they have promised an HTML5 site in the upcoming weeks though!

Tired of the cool and pretty? Try the uncool hunters. They dig up all sorts of interesting finds from around the world.
Oops, better stop at 10, the list was starting to go downhill.

The “Pizza Turnaround” is a bold marketing campaign by the pizza franchise Dominos. They are attempting to get attention by saying that clients don’t like their products and now they will be improving. Whether this approach will work or backfire remains to be seen. See below a video explaining (maybe it has already worked – we are posting about the here aren’t we!). It does remind us of CPB’s Whopper Freakout (Domino’s was also created by them).

Meet Robert Hodgin and some of his mesmerising work done with Processing – art meets maths and physics through the body senses. We really like Processing, it’s a shame we don’t have the same power with flash or we could do even more cool stuff with it than we do now…

He has taken an innovative approach to the problem of overcrowding of traffic and even bicycles in problematic areas. The idea is to create sky lanes for bicycles to move around without being limited to the amount of road available:
Kolelinia is a city fly attempt. We are born to move, this makes us alive. The transport is not only a transport, it has to be an experience! The quality of this process reflects directly on the quality of our life. Is it possible to achieve a completely new level of transportation with minimum resources?
Kolelinia is a concept for riding our own bikes on a steel wire, a new type of bicycle-lanes…This doesn’t replace the normal biking, this only helps in problematic zones!
Could be a bridge type, a longer transportation line or a special designed and independent touristic line. Of course it is too early to talk about mass use. See the story of the project.

We had the pleasure of creating an animation for DCSF (Department for Children, schools and families) in the BETTs event last week. The animation shows how the DCSF helps Children of all school ages progress and achieve their maximum potential in education. I had never seen the Olympia venue with all the available space used up! Apparently, BETTs is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.
First of all, here is the finished animation:
