We can“t stop moving.
Flash Player 10.1 on Google Nexus One from michael chaize on Vimeo.
It looks like it runs faster than a lot of desktop computers we have used, OK ,we’re exaggerating, but it looks very fast for a mobile device. Now that Adobe has signed on most of the mobile phone makers in the market apart from Apple, the IPhone will feel increased pressure to allow the flash plug-in to be incorporated into its browser. Our best guess is Apple will keep a stranglehold on flash and other competing software to Quicktime and open standards as long as possible, caving in somewhere in the near future as competition starts eating away at its market share.

Microsoft will try its best in the next few months to convince you that Bing.com is a superior search engine to Google. They have a massive ad campaign lined up to $100 million, many times what Google spends annualy. You can view Bing here. From our first few tests it looks pretty good. It is a shame their other services are not like this – Multimap, Ciao, etc. Hopefully they can get some competition going with Google so that search becomes even better for users.

Microsoft once again has a go at dislodging Google from the top of the search engine world with a new search engine Bing. It’s not up and running yet, but you can see the a demo here: http://www.decisionengine.com (warning! Silverlight plugin needed!)

Bing will offer a series of extra features that Google does not offer (maybe because they are not necessary?). The question is if Microsoft wins this battle will we Bing for things on the internet? Like we currently Google for search terms?! We hope not!

It hasn’t been launched yet, but click here to see a screencast. The difficulty will be no longer in finding knowledge, but asking the right questions! Reminds us a little of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy dilemna
We’re not sold on the name yet either
